Couldn't think where to put this, so it went here :D

Quick and probably daft question re: printing.

When I use PS to print, it gives me a small white border around the shot. When I print through Vista, I don't get the border.

When I'm printing a full size picture (IE no border) is this likely to cause any kind of problem or damage the printer?

Is it best to have a border, like not print right to the very edge of the paper?

(Hope this makes sense :bonk: )

Both of my Epson printers give the option of bordered or borderless prints.I always print borderless and have never had a problem.

Disclaimer.....I ain`t no printing expert, so take the above with a pinch of salt.......:D

I prefer borderless prints myself.
My printer is a Kodak Easyshare and it gives me the option of border or borderless printing as I expect most printers would.

Now a wee plug for the Kodak. After owning Epson and Canon printers in the past, the Kodak is by far the cheapest to run. Print quality is superb if you use Kodak paper. I am using it for Club Competitions and so far I have achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd placements
