I've read some threads on this but wants to just throw my own question out.

my Monitor not calibtrated and I dont intend too, due to price & toggin just a hobby.

I have some great shots of my daughters and I dont want to pay for 10/20 prints and not be happy with the results.:bang:
The online printers do give a colour setting and offer to tweek images or you can choose for them not too. however this option says only for *** with calibrated monitors.:rules:

In the past I have printed from the same Co, a yellow pepper, and it came back a little more orange than i expected.

Is there an easier way to test, other than sending one image in to print, and maybe tweek my monitor to match as close to the actual print as poss, after its delivered ?

Sorry if this is a little basic and defeats the real objective. I totally understand a screen cannot represent ink on paper.
