Probably a stupid question

To cut a long story short, I am looking for a Canon oc-e3 cable and someone has offered to sell me one. In his e-mail he is happy to post it to me and he has offered as a geasture of good will, I can pay once I have received it - via Paypal if I wish, (all of it his suggestion).

Now for the stupid question - should I be concerned :shrug::shrug:

Like I said, probably a stupid question, I know it is really, but I just have never had this happen to me before, I have always had to pay up front.

Thanks :bonk:

Is this anything to do with Ebay?

Sorry, should have mentioned that, no via EOS classifieds

Have a wanted ad placed there as well as here

I can't see any reason for concern and I offer this method for most of my sales...much prefer that the buyer is satisfied before making payment.

can't see what you have to lose

Cheers guys

I think I just wanted re-assurance that there are genuine people out there who are willing to help with no alterior motive.

I'm glad I'm not the only person to take things on trust, most folks are decent ;)

I once sent a cheque for £1,200 to a complete stranger who had arranged a web forum group buy on an imported car engine. A week later, he delivered it personally and I had saved £1,000 :)
