Probate, LPA, will advice

I have this contact information:

"Thankyou for your email you can call us on 0300 303 0648."

Thanks, I have only just come off the phone from them after twenty minutes. The caveat was in place in July, probate was granted in September. The person at the probate office said I would have to get a solicitor involved, because she cannot give any more information or tell me how the caveat was bypassed.
As I suspected, the laws in rhis country are deeply flawed.

Sadly, I'm not surprised, my experience of them is that they're hopelessly inefficient and answerable to nobody.

You just need to bite the bullet and instruct a specialist solicitor.

If probate has been granted, it and the will becomes a public document and can be downloaded. It's only a couple of quid to do it, but will give you the estimated value of the estate and the will, will obviously tell you who the executor is and where /who your dad left his estate to.
