Problem With 3rd Party Batteries - 1DmkII

My 3rd party batteries have become a little loose & in portrait orientation they
lose connection & shut the camera down.

Any suggestions on a quick fix ie adjusting the locking mech or should I just
bin them & replace?

If replace, what should I replace them with on a budget?

To be honest I have never had an issue with the 3rd party batteries in my MkII. Is the rubber seal still in place as this creates the perfect tight fit?

If you do look to replace them I would go for the £12.99 7 Day Shop versions. I bought one a few weeks ago, charged it fully and it only lasted about an hour. Recharged it again and it lasted about 2 weeks and easily 1,500 shots!

Think you have found the problem bud.

Part of the seal was very slightly tucked in & the two screws that hold the locking
mech were loose. One screw will not tighten at all.

I think I will replace this one as its not very professional for a model to see
the equipment fail on a regular basis anyway.
