Problem with cokin polarizer

I got one today. It looks solid and robust but... Each time I am trying to slot it into the Cokin filter holder, the small piece of filter holder (bulge?) rubs against the glass. Have any of you ever had the same problem? How to solve it? (get rid of the bulge?)

Thanks

You're not putting it the right slot

At the very back of the holder, there's a thin slot without a retaining spring...stick the CPL in there with the lettering facing back towards the camera body.

Bob: I believe I am using it correctly. Please see photo -should be self-explanatory.

Ah, with you now....I thought that you meant the spring tabs in the side of the other slots.
The tab you've pointed out in the shot is simply pulled away slightly with your thumb as you drop the CPL in....I've got one infront of me and it seems to be fine.

I think I woll just cut this tab off :) It is incredibly stiff this plastic and I don't want to scratch the glass. Thanks for your help.

After inserting the polarizer it is the lug that stops it falling out, it should rotate freely in the thin slot. I can't say that I've ever noticed the lug causing a problem when I've used my polarizer in all the years I've had it.

artyman: I don't know why but it was definitely rubbing against the glass. And the filter holder plastic is very stiff hence difficult to pull the lug back. I have just cut the lug off. Filter sits in the holder tight enough not to fall out.
Thanks for all advice.
