problem with cookies ?

about once a week ish when i'm on the internet i have to log on to sites i use , this one included , normally i stay logged on but every week or so its like something gets wiped and forgets who i am so i have to log on to everything again

i use vista and IE8 does anyone know what may be causing this ? it doesnt sound like much of a problem but it does become annoying :bang:

I don't use IE but a guess, maybe there is a setting somewhere to delete cookies after a time period, in you're case a week

Worth checking maybe
