Problem with memory card - any suggestions

I put the memory card in this morning to copy them over and neither mac or windows is seeing the card.

If I put the card into the camera everything is there, no problem nad if I put another card into the reader no problem but not with this one.

Its a card I have used for months.

Any suggestions please

Get the images off the card via the camera

Then format the card in camera, shoot a couple of tests and see what happens.

Agreed, get the photo's off vi camera but if the card is going to be used in any customer critical way I'd bin it without a second thought.

As luck would have it when I used a different card reader in the windows 7 machine it saw it so the files are recovered. Yep my ex-favourite card reader is destined for a long rest

worked it out....seems to have been the hub. The hub has decided it does not want to allow the card reader to read cards of over 4 gigs :shrug::shrug::shrug:

My card reader I take on holiday decided to only read one brand of card. Fortunately that was the 16Gb Trancsend that i normally use. Checking things now I'm back and it turned out to be the USB cable! Different cable and everything works.
