Problems connecting a 7D to a Mac PC

Today I finally purchased my first Canon camera (the 7D). I have spent the day playing, trying the setting out etc. I have just come to download the images to my mac book pro running on Mac OS X 10.7.3. I installed all the software that came with the camera, connected the camera up and switched it on. All I get is a popup box saying "No camera found".

Have you got EOS Utility Version 2.8.1 or later (I have Version 2.11 installed) and has your 7D got firmware 1.2.5 installed?

If so, it sounds like EOS utility isn’t launching when you plug in and switch on the 7D. So once the 7D is plugged in and switched on, simply run EOS utility from the menu button.

I found an updated version of the EOS Utility Version 2.10.4 on the Canon website. This appears to have fixed my problem. Thanks for the heads up as to where to look.
