Problems using softbox....

Yes
Tried using my new softbox the other night, and found pics had a big black line along the "top of the sensor"

think aperture was F10 and SS 1/200th, and ideas? whats caused it?
When the ISO was bumped up, and the flash off it wasnt there:thinking:
 
Looks like the shutter speed is too fast to Sync with the flash or the triggers arent getting the signal out quick enough and so you are catching the shutter.

Try reducing the shutter speed until the line disappears

newbie to all this lighting malarky:lol:
 
It's a problem with most of the cheaper radio triggers. They have a slight delay which sometimes catches out the camera.
 
Apparently the A700's sync speeds are 1/250 or 1/200 with Super SteadyShot on.
