Yes
Well I had another little visit from my lively little friend this morning. :)
Think Im going to have to keep my eyes open for him now the weather is turning colder though.

I got down to his level as much as I could using the 50mm 1.4.
And basically Ive just been playing with the Orton Effect (as mentioned on a previous thread by Old fart).

Im not sure though, I kinda like it but dont know if Ive gone too far!

I kind of like that Glo (y) Maybe his eyes need a touch of work though

It's nice to see the little fella is still doing good :)

Thanks JO (y)
I think I see what you mean about the eyes.
I guess the trouble with this method is that it makes everything soft & light, which I thought would make him look cuddly & cute ... only problem is when I sharpened the eyes, they looked, well ... odd!

He's still a bundle of energy at the mo ... shifts through the hedges at quite a pace actually!

Awww.. :baby:

Would get 10/10 if the nose and eyes were pin sharp. Sadly you missed and got the first few rows of spines spot on. 8/10 says oldgit.

Good shot! Sharpen dem eyes - selective masks is your friend. ;) If you just sharpen the eyes it will look weird because most of the head is soft too, so draw a rough freehand mask around the whole head - feather it by lots of pixels - 50 or more and sharpen.
