Hi guys,

I recently got an old russian Horizont swing lens camera- running a roll of film through it over a couple of days, and I was wondering if anybody had and recommendations on where to go to get the film processed and scanned? Scanning to usb or online account preferable to cd, but not essential. (The negatives are 24 X 58 mm)

Thanks =)

I've enquired about the same thing for Xpan negatives. http://www.ag-photolab.co.uk/ and http://ukfilmlab.com/ will both dev and scan panoramic negatives, for the same price as usual (I think).

If you're scanning them at home, the lightbox-and-DSLR method, or using a flatbed scanner, is probably your best bet.

Peak imaging will also do panoramic stuff... it's the XPAN option at the bottom of this page - http://www.peak-imaging.com/htmls/process_and_scan_to_cd.htm

It's also safest to ask for your negatives returned "uncut" - i.e. in a roll - just in case the automated guillotine splits your shots in twain.

Peak don't use automatic film cutting machines. There's no need to ask for it uncut.
