Hey, was just looking for some advice, maybe someone has been in the same boat as me! For one of my uni projects I was thinking of doing something along the lines of Gormley, standing figures in empty environments, fields etc, and photographing them. Perhaps dressing them up in dark clothing, that sort of thing. Not the most original idea I know.
I was thinking along the lines of mannequins, however I have no idea where to start looking for them. I'd need one to be full body, but with no face, just standing up right. They seem to be very expensive. I was thinking of using people instead, and having them standing up straight, however some of the shots may be quite long exposures and it would be quite difficult. I quite like the element of them having no face, feeling quite empty.
Perhaps someone knows of a good place to hire out mannequins. Or maybe an alternative option i'm not thinking of.
