Well school is out for the Summer (well work is I'm not a child...), and I'm looking for a photography project. I've been doing a lot of street photography the past few months but feel like I want to get into a themed project. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Street photography sort of suggests wealth and poverty.

Good luck.

I have started a project just using prime lenses and it is starting to open my eyes a bit more. Early days yet but worth it. I know some days it will be tough deciding what to shoot if I am stuck indoors.

Start something that revolves around something you love being a part of or doing..... maybe something to do with a sport you play, or a leisure activity. Doing street shooting you obviously like a bit of people watching so why not get more involved with people who share your same passions.

It sounds childish and pathetic but when i come up with ideas for projects i keep them to myself as i feel it keeps my work original, just reading this post put another too ideas on my list but again, i cannot divulge as i feel i loose a bit of edge.
I wholly understand that whatever anyone comes up with will most likely have been done to death already but i have one project that im working on right now that could keep me busy for the next two years lol and its original in its process so should help me with a bit of recognition.
Oh go on then, just the one idea. I started a project to see if i could get from one to a hundred. That is taking pictures of the 1 then a 2 so on so forth. I think i got to 30 before abandoning it lol
I set a rule that no number can be part of a string, each number had to be an original and anything that generates numbers such as calculators or phones can only be used once.
Bit mental but that's just me.

Shoot something you care about. If it's something you come up with yourself / feel you have to shoot, the project will be immeasurably better than if you shoot someone else's idea

Try looking through your existing photos and see if there are any subjects which appear more than others and use them as a starting point.
