I did this a week or so ago, heads up for a probable silly short timescale I had sub half an hour :O which was a bit much considering she had been doing hair and makeup all morning.
I used a garden hedge as a backdrop as it was plain and had a decent amount of space around it, I know loads of techniques for working with a plain white wall but I never have the bloody opportunity :bang:
Took a single speedlight with dual duty brolly and stand. I shot a few frames ambient first with 50mm f1.4 then moved to 17-50 to do 3/4 and full length shots, also finished off with head and shoulder shots from 135 SF to give a little variation. Try to work unusual angles as full length stuff can get very static. Handily she worked out posing herself.
Aaah just reread post and seen parents so much of my info is less useful as I was thinking of for just her as thats all I did.
