Proof Setup - Cs2

Can anybody give me a quick lowdown on this function please. I have just gone into it (View_proof setup_custom) and set up the profile I use for Peak Imaging which is an SRGB profile.

I always use labs to print - should I be using this profile in the proof setup or just leave it?

I print with photobox and use their own color profile. I always use this through the proof-setup thingy. I've found I get much more accurate reproductions.

Thanks for that - I am going to try a couple of test prints at Photobox who i use as well sometimes and see how it goes.
