Protective Lens Made of Clear Glass Ceramic

I'd would seriously consider sticking this on one of my lenses!

A lot of people say you shouldn't use protection filters but personally I've often used them especially when taking my camera to slightly hazardous places such as the beach and dusty and dirty places.

Do we know how much they'll cost?

I don't use anything on my lenses at the moment. I do consider they affect image quality.

A lens hood does me just fine.

Probably undectable amongst the greater flare from the lens itself in those circumstances.
