Very good set but particularly like the last image the grimace says it all about what has to be one of the toughest sports on the planet.
Thanks Steve. I think the rider in the last image - Sep Vanmarck of the Lotto Jumbo team - tried to break away at that point, but the break scooped him up before the finish and he finished fourth.
It was a blisteringly hot day, but fortunately we had a lot of shade on the embankment and there was hardly anyone else around, so I could pick my spot next to the kerb and shoot upwards at the riders.
