For those who are looking for free courses on lighting, Zack Arias is (in conjunction with creativeLIVE) running a 3 day course from June 11th to 13th. CreativeLIVE are broadcasting it (real time afaik), and there's an option to pay some USD to gain access to the recordings and keep them for reference.
He's done a promo video on YouTube, in the style of an American used car salesman - I find it hilarious, but that might be from previous exposure to that kind of advertisement, and the damage it did to my brain. If nothing else, the 'Strobist' model should make you laugh.
