PSP help

Hi ime trying to graduate a photo to a white finish on one side (to use in wedding photography) i belive its something to do in layers but ime stuck any ideas folks

quick and messy way would be to select the side of the pic you want to loose and feather it by as many pixels as you want to graduate. Delete the selection. Then create a layer underneath and fill it with white.

There's a better way with layer masks but I haven't got PSP X2 to look at so I cant tell you where to go ith it.

Here's a PSPX2 Makeover Tutorial which includes replacing the background with a gradient. Not sure if this is what you want, but might help
