Does anyone know of a plugin that is available for Elements 9 that will enable me to open .pspimage files?

There used to be a firm called telegraphics (or something similar that did a plug-in, don't know if they are still going.
Have you tried right clicking on the file and open with photoshop, that might work

Edit it seems they are still in business

Thanks for the help Wayne but it would not install.
The readme with it also states it will only open a single layer.

Any other ideas for how to save this file?

Install the trial version of psp and then save it as a psd? There must be someone on here using Paint shop that would convert it for you.
I'll see if any of our people has it.
