Just a few shots from the last couple of weeks in Shetland. Nice to see the Puffins back, along with Bonxies, Meadow Pipits and Wheatears starting to appear - just what's needed after a very bleak winter

I'm only just starting to get to grips with the D800E - cracking camera but I've found it quite a different beast to use compared to my good old D300 and have struggled to get shots I'm happy with. Have bought a monopod and also discovered I had to adjust the focus fine-tuning to around +12 to get the focus on the right part of the subject.
