Puppy Portrait - rediscovering my nifty fifty

My mate came round tonight with his little jack russel, i was playing with my cam and got my fifty out for a play. I've not used it for a while, but after rediscovering it's clarity, i think i ma be using it more often from now on

this is one of the shots i got earlier (took a while as i think she was scared of the flash )

Stunning portrait. Flash often disturbs animals, better take em outdoors and use natural light.

Beautiful portrait, I think it would have looked even better if their was more space around the dog though and part of its ear wasn't cut of.
