Purchasing Canon Parts?

Hey all,

I've got a couple of flashes that are, cosmetically, a bit tired I'm honest.

However I'm struggling to find anywhere that I can purchase replacement parts from, for instance, I need the IR panel (the clear red plastic thingy) for a 550EX and a new pull out diffuser panel for a 580 ex II...

I've been quoted £80 each to fix which excessive for something I can do myself in an hour... I just NEED those parts!!! :lol:

If anyone knows of anywhere then I'd be very grateful.

Hi Adam. I had to buy the same red panel for the 550EX when I bought the speedlite from the classifieds on here.
I googled the part I needed to find the proper part number, got it off an exploded drawing of the flash.
It cost me £10 plus postage. Gimme 5 mins, i'll see if I can find the invoice.

Right. I got the part from Lehmanns Direct. I cant find the invoice but I checked my card payments. It cost me £10 for the part and about £1.60 for postage, it took 10 days or something.
