Purple Sandpipers

[RJL2005]

Prehaps they should be named wave dodgers. Fabulous little waders which scour the rocky tideline. Confiding too, if liberties are not taken with them they will happily approach within yards. All taken with Canon 50D, Sigma 500mm f4.5 and monopod.
