Putting pictures back on memory card

Hi,
I'm not very technical so there is probably something really basic and obvious that I am not doing that will solve this problem, so apologies if I'm being a bit dopey!!
I took some pictures at my cousins wedding on Saturday, I've edited them and also others people have emailed me some of there photographs. I want to be able to add these photos back on the memory card so they can be viewed on the camera, so I can show the pictures to people in work and other relatives. I've copied and pasted the edited photos and the new ones on to the memory card and I can view them on the computer but not when I switch my camera on. Is it possible to do this? My camera is a Samsung PL70.
Thanks.

As long as they're all jpeg's and have a similer file and folder name you should be able to see them on your camera

She says she can view them on the PC so I presume she has one?

If they've been editted, extras have been added from other cameras, etc.. it's most likely that the problem is a combination of the following:
  • Images put in wrong folder on memory card
  • Folder on the memory card named incorrectly
  • Image filenames not in the correct format
  • Image filetype changed

Camera rear screens don't really make good viewers, and the software loaded on the camare may have very specific demands on filename, etc.. much better to show on a PC from a USB stick, or to transfer them to a smartphone.

Normally it's only unedited shots taken by the camera you're showing them on that can be shown on the camera display. If the files have been edited it will alter the file structure meaning the camera can't read it.

Edited and non edited pictures aren't showing up. I deleted a picture of the memory card by accident and attempting to put that back on it, that was an unedited one, that won't even show up, just get file name and a black screen. I will get memory stick and transfer them onto that and let people borrow that.
Thanks for the help anyways :)

There is free software available for recovering photos deleted from a card by accident. I've got Recuva and Image Recall and both of them work well if the memory card has been formatted, never tried to recover a deleted photo though I would assume it works.
