Yes
Finally I have got around to creating a small gallery in my camera/fishing room.
What has driven me to do this is getting very promising results in the club comps that I have entered.
So what have I learned, and for any one reading this I hope it helps.
Cropping, well I used to free crop and found that it was not ideal for getting photographs printed to fit frames.
On top of that I was not paying any attention to aspect ratio and PPI.
Now I have applied this measurements to my photographs, and getting them printed works far better no.
So lessons learned.
Cost, well the frame, between £5 and £8, the printing, same day between £4.50 and £9.
Yes its money, but the difference to the room has made a massive difference.
Glad I am doing it and will do more as time passes.
Better than just looking at a screen.
I use Max Spielman, and Crew for printing at the moment.
Frames, I get mine from The Range and Home Bargains.
What do you do?

I have a few that I've printed myself and used frames from Ikea or The Range.
I also have some that I've had printed on canvas by Trade Canvas Print, who advertise on TP and give us a 10% discount on their already reasonable prices.

I regularly print my own images to hang in craft/photo editing room. At any time there are five framed photos in there and whenever I manage to get another photo that I think is worth printing I will replace one of the existing prints with it. Of the five, three are A3 size and two are 8x10" and all are printed on my Epson Expression XP970 printer. I enjoy the process of printing my own work.

I have five prints at the moment, three 8x8s one A3 and another (not sure the size is) but its the from the first roll of film I did.
None of these photographs are world class but all represent points in my photography that I have considered an achievement.
And they will get added to as I have wall space.
