Is it acceptable to ask a market research question here, to gauge the pricing acceptability on something we offer?

I don't see any reason why not, providing it wasn't a specific product that you were trying to sell to the forum. There's plenty of instances where people have asked for advice and guidance on pricing so this shouldn't really be any different, although I'm obviously not in a position to give you a definitive answer.

Safest thing is to ask with more detail first.

Use the 'contact us' link at the bottom to outline what it is about then someone from admin can get back to you to say if it is OK.
