QR Plate?

I've somehow lost my QR plate from my tripod ball-head. Are these all a standard fit/size or not? It was an unbranded head, so can't go back and order another from anywhere - I need something with a strong lock ring on the underside as I clip a blackrapid type strap onto it...

Open to any answers/suggestions for another one...

Alas, they're not an industry standard. But you might be lucky and find that whoever made your head ripped off one of the major brands. Maybe post a pic here, or take the head to a local photo shop and see if they can match it.

Manfrotto do an adaptor to fit any 3/8" or 1/4" head that allows the use of there excellent qr plates. Probably worth a look.

Did a quick google, its and 323RC2 (for use with the widely available MN-200PL-14 plates the link below includes both) Amazon UK do them and there are also unbranded compatibles on the Bay.

This ebay seller has good picture of the underside as I am not sure what you need for your strap.
