quantum + 550ex how much use?

I have a quantum 1+ and a canon 550ex flash.... how many shots should I get.. will I get more wiht higher iso? or any other settings to get longer life?

well, more shots from less flash power.... so use f1.4, 25seconds exposure, ISO128k and FP -5

Should get loads of shots

so more open, longer shutter speed and higher iso all go to extending battery life... fanx

FP = flash power - you can introduce a manual correction - a bit like exposure comp.
