I enjoy my camera and all the associated paraphernalia - Mrs Meeten doesn't! :cuckoo:

So, with the impending birth of my heir, she wants a camera that she can use to take pics of the little 'un whilst I am out earning to feed & clothe them.
It's gotto be easy to use, allow her to take videos of the bundle of fun so that she can send them to her parents, and it's not allowed to break MY bank!

She's seen one she likes, this Panny T7Z so I am sure that there will be NO OTHER camera's out there.

The review sounds promising (remember the audience and needs that it will be used for), so should I just hand over my cc and let her buy it? Or should I dig my heels in, try and find one that is better for similar money, and then have her complain at me (but I will have ended up with a new toy, which will be considerably lighter than my kit bag)....

Over to you ...

For the money, the Panasonic TZ7 is a great camera, also has the HD Video capability, full auto, so P&S, camera does the rest, the only other 2 camera's that I've looked at that I've been considering for a pocket camera are the canon SX200 IS or the Fuji FinePix F70EXR

but you won't go wrong with the Pansonic

I've got last years TZ5 as my auto do everything take to work camera, its brilliant! The HD video is great as it still zooms properly whilst recording and the pictures it takes are great.

Get a screen protector for the back and you're all sorted.

Many thanks - looks like she has picked a good 'un

No need for me to go looking for an alternative.

What about this screen protector?
