Question about RAW

I've filled my memory card with raw files, my laptop wont read the Canon disc so I dont have any software to download the pictures.

Cant find a download on canons site, does anyone have any suggestions how I can get these pics onto my PC?

which camera have you got?
what software do you intend to use for PP?
 
I've got the 350d! and your lens;)

Was really only going to use the canon suite as I've spent up on equipment for now. Do have PS 5.5 from years ago though! but dont think will help.

Problem is I havent got a card reader either

I could always see if my works computer reads the Canon disc and make a backup of that

Card readers can be bought for less than £5. It makes transferring pictures easy and you will save yourself a lot of future bother by getting one.
 
I gave up transfering images from camera to pc, i always use a card reader now, i find it quicker (althought that could just be the amount of caffine i drink now! Haha)
 
there are a few free programs you can get instead of the cannon software if your system really struggles with it (does happen from time to time)

http://www.getpaint.net/ for example. there are lots more. just do a search in google for free digital imaging software and choose which one you fancy the look of

then you will need to converet the RAW files, again there are a lot out there, for free.

if your camera isnt being picked up by your camera, go into disk manager and check that it isnt set to the same drive letter as one of you exsisting drives (again it can happen from time to time)
