Yes
I was looking though my CANON 600D viewfinder yesterday and saw on the bottom of the Screen "D+" and when I looked at the LV Screen it was showing "D+" under and in the ISO box, as I had never seen this before I looked it up in the Manual. Took a bit of finding but now I know, but do you know what it means???

Happy new Year.

Doesn't the camera look at the scene and then give you a score for how good your shot is going to be. D+ = must do better. ;)

Yes - I do know what it is.

I would not even get a d+ :)

Highlight Tone Priority, hidden in Custom Functions menu on the Rebels

Its a bit of a fancy-sounding setting for what is effectively a botched slight-underexposure, and nothing that keeping an eye on zebras/histogram and exposing for highlights yourself won't achieve.

I guess the D relates to 'Dynamic Range' +

Could be wrong but that's what I've always assumed even if it is called Highlight Tone Priority.
