hi guys, im looking for a quick answer to this question.
i'm bidding on this on ebay ;

i need to make sure that it will fit my Canon 400D

i have tried to cancel my bid on this as i think it wont fit, and if it doesn't, is there anyone that wants to buy it for the same amount that i get it for?

Quick google shows they work with the EOS system BUT the picture shows the Vivitar 850AF M which a quick google also says is for Minolta.
 
Dont know if it will work or not on your canon, but for that price it'll be good for using remotely :)
 
how much would it cost to use off camera?
but that would be using one on the hotshoe aswell though.

Does the M mean that it would work on the EOS & the minolta?
or just minolta?

It'll cost you about a tenner for the remote triggers, a transmitter sits on the hotshoe and a reciever connects to the flashgun.
 
how many flashguns can i run off the remote trigger?
but, will it matter that my flashguns are one Canon EOS and one is Minolta?

You can hook up as many as you like, you just have to buy extra receivers. Mixed units are fine, obviously not as good as having multiple speed lights but then you are talking over a grand!
