quick important mx question

I am booked to shoot some MX this morning and its pouring down... for my money that should make for better pics.. BUT do they still ride in pouring rain?

Put a bag over your camera, I did some last week and got my gear covered in mud, I had to wash it in the sink lol.

I know that bit ta ..i have rain covers I take it that means yes they still go ahead when its constant downpour of rain then ? good.. should make for interesting pics

I used a 70-200, tried the 300 but it was far too long, mind you I was very close at times, in fact a bike nearly hit me when it come of the track lol.

they probably won't run in torrential rain, really depends on the skills of the riders and the track prep. Is this a local meet or pro?

local.. rossendale MX at whalley nab.... got there... rained all the way through... got the shots I wanted.. will post some later... so much mud its going to be difficult picking out the riders I needed to get... but on first glance I know I got a couple

I will but it wont be today... Motocross followed by an equestrian event... home and quick change as soaked...then out to Cricket and some crown green bowls... home to get pics in to a paper by deadline then back out to more cricket and the 2 hrs of Kabaddi wresteling for another paper..... thats a heck of a sunday and all in different locations...phew home now and need a beer
