After reading a post in the classifieds where someone mentioned the camera shutter count in ML - I just found this on mine. Is this a genuine number ? it says my 550D has a count of 24k - about twice what I thought!

Seems like it is correct, got my 50D today from Ebay. It was described as less than 10k and after a firmware update and an install of ML it reports the shutter count as 6.7k - result
