Yes
Just the one shot as I've not got around to processing the rest.

Used my new 55-250mm IS. Chuffed with it. Seems pin sharp when I got the pans right.

C&C very welcome. :)

EDIT: CLICKABLE TO FULL SIZE

Very nice result. No EXIF data, any idea what settings you used... very nice pan :)

(looks bright enough on my monitor, but not calibrated in any way)

Not sure why the EXIF is not there.

It's:

ISO 200
250mm (with a little crop)
1/400th at F20

Not calibrated my monitor here either.

Matt: Not been here long but already I gather you have slight issues with wonky horizons on motorsport shots?

Nice sharp shot.

I can feel a visit from the pixel police ***....

You might want to reduce to 800px before you get arrested

Lovely shot, I've went round the 'ring and it is surprisingly hilly!!

I did a couple of laps on the nordschleife as well and you're right it's like a rollercoaster at times! The DTM car is from the grand prix circuit though.

Out of interest I bought 3 pics of me for €10 each and this is the best of the bunch.

Also clickable to full size.

Good background motion blur for 1/400

Thanks for that (y)

Ooo a DTM Merc, is that Jamie Green I can't make it out on my iPhone (I'm at work).

Nice shot very siimilar to the 100's I have of these monsters. Don't forget the British round of the DTM is at brands on the 30/31 of this month. Lewis Hamilton will be there too doing some demo laps in his McLaren.

Www.dtm.com & www.motorsportvision.co.uk/dtm for more info

I like the photo, although perhaps a bit more of a wide angle to add more of the context?

Look forward to the rest of the photos. I've been on seven trips altogether. I usually do about 2-3 a year and my last trip was last month. :) Hoping to get at least another one in. :)

Who did you buy the photos from? I know most of the 'Ring photographers personally, seeing as I am one, as well lol. ;)

Sorry for going OT, Shak, have you ever been to the 24hrs?
Back on topic, like the shot, maybe a bit more room in front but it doesnt take anything away from the picture by not having it, seems sharp too (y)

I've not been to the 24hr yet but I know quite a few people who have.

I've done 3 24hrs at the Ring. Utterly superb!

Will be taking the new car out there later this year so may be using your contacts for some shots :D

I suppose I could go for a less harsh crop. Might look at redoing it.

I bought the photos from Nurburgringphotos.com or something similar. They were the only place I could find them. Annoyingly they were very small thumbnails before buying and then appaling quality when downloaded after paying €10!

Ah yes I know the guys who run the site. One of the co-owners of the site has a white CSL and his driving capabilities are something else! :D:D

I also sell photos through that site but that site mainly consists of photos uploaded by more of the amateur type 'togs rather than the guys who specialise in the art, if that makes sense lol.

This is one of my favourites that I took at the last trip:
