Quick Question for D800 Owners

When your camera arrived, was there any protection over the screen protector (a peel off film for example?)

Just received mine, no protection but there are scratches and rubs on the screen protector and I'm not happy. I fear it may not be brand new but wanted to check other experiences before I got too angry.

take a shot a check the shutter count,
with any new nikon camera i have brought it never has nothing on only the clip on protector in the box..
