Yes
Friend of mine wants to know if the D40 has a bulb setting and if so how does it work? Ie do you just keep pushing down the shutter speed till it turns to bulb and press to activate then press to stop like my 350d?

Thanks

Yes it does. If you keep cranking the shutter speed up, at the end of the scale is the bulb setting. Push the shutter release to open the shutter and let go to close it.. can be done with the infra red remote too I think.

RTFM I reckon

I thought the question was going to be.. "How much is a Canon?":LOL::wacky:

Of course we all know that Nikons without this facility can utilize the pebble and gaffer tape option ...simply hold the button down with the pebble and use the tape to keep it down.

In some ways better than the new method cos ...You wont forget to re-set after.
