Quick question - Sunsets

I'm hoping to snap a few sunset shots tonight with my siggy 10-20. Should I leave my CP filter on the lens or would I get better results without it?

If your shooting directly towards the sunset I'd leave it on as the light that it stops will make it easier to control the highlights in the shot. Other than that it will make no difference as you are working at the wrong angle to the sun. Personally I opt for ND grads for sunsets as it ;ets you blance the foregroud and sky exposure or you could blend multiple exposures/HDR.
