QUICK RELEASE MONOPOD

Manffroto 685B Monopod has a quick release for height adjustment by squeezing a grip. Is there any other manufacturer that has this system?

Any comments on the 685B and ease of use would be appeciated

I've got the 685B and can't fault it, wonderful thing and worth every penny (paid about £80 for it used on here). The quick height adjustment is brilliant, can't imagine using a regular monopod now.

Hi John,

thanks for that, they do seem a great idea and am surprised that other manufacturers have not adopted the quick release method. Although a bit pricey, they will ensure sharper photos than hand holding ................... must look around for one soon.
