Quick Spyder Pro question?

Does anyone know if the spyder pro 2 will work on a dell ultrasharp flat screen display? I've googled but can't seem to get a definitive answer

Yes it will. What exact monitor is it? It's not too brilliant with wide gamut screens though, so your exact monitor will be useful to give you full advice.

It's for a Dell U2311H.

I was bidding on one on ebay but didn't win it.
