Well Spring has finally sprung and our quince is coming into flower. I took the opportunity to dig out a cheap and nasty screw on macro lens and bolted it onto my 18-55 to take a few shots. Here's a couple:
I used DPP to process them and that helped taking out a lot of the CA the lens added. Sure they're a bit soft [could probably be helped by sharpening in Elements, but I wanted to stay in DPP] but I'm fairly pleased considering the equipment that made them.
