Hi, going to be going.

but looking at the site " http://www.rafcte.com/airshow/Airshow_Tickets " theres a lot of different tickets.

I'm thinking i want the to go on the sat for the stationary displays plus the display and i presume there's good standing area's to view and take pics? plus the monday in the park and view section.

I guess in park and view you can't go and see the stationary planes?


Earlybird admission - Sat - £30.95
Park and View - Monday 20 July - £18.00

I would hope being almost 2 x the price the earlybird admission would get you in early enough to see and photograph the display planes arriving without the crowds:shrug:

I have a friend near Oxford and I went down the night before to stay with him before going off to Fairford. My parents heard it on the news and phoned me late at night to tell me.

Had I been going on my own or staying in a hotel I'd be extra annoyed, at least I got my money back within a fortnight.

Least you heard it before setting off, we were on the M4 just comming out of Wales when it was on the display board that it had been cancelled......that sight still haunts my dreams :razz:
