Anyone know if you can run dual RAID arrays from a single controller? I'm using Intels Matrix Storage Manager, currently with a RAID 1 config over two drives. I want to utilize the other two SATA ports, but I want them on a separate array for backup.

This possible? I assume it just depends on the controller?
 
Depends on the controller, yep :) What raid controller / card do you have?
 
Intel ICH8R/ICH9R/ICH10R/DO/PCH SATA RAID

Not sure why it lists the ICH8R and ICH9R... seems when I search, it brings each up individually, but this is what it has in device manager.

Looks like I can run multiple arrays across the same drives, but it doesn't specify if you can run multiples across separate.
