Random seagull

I know it's not a bird of any note, I just quite liked the shot

It doesn't, matter if its a common bird or not.In fact the nest bird shots i have are seagulls, far to easy to fall in the trap of only wanting to photograph the rare or special birds.



I like the composition leaving space for the gull to "look into" a nice shallow DOF and although the whites look like they are blowing a little around the neck, overall its good exposure and i think it works nicely

thats a super picture, i always find black headed gulls quite photogenic
