ok.. here i go..

the other week it was m works night out and we had hired a big pink hummer limo:( to go in.. everyone was excited. well as it turns out i was in work at 5.am finished at 2.pm had to in the pub at 6pm ... no i wasn't wanting to sleep

anyway everyone tinks at work that i know what i am doing with my camera and don't so i asked hubby to pop tot the pub and take a few pic's .. not one other person bough a camera with them not one.. i had my compat in my bag but that is another story.


this was the sat... i was back in work on the sunday after 3 hours sleep.. in traps the others ..seen the pic's on face book " don't like that" ect... but can you get the posters done by Tues.......... 95 pic's none were that great but these were snaps.... so yep i went to a cheap and cheerful site to get them done paid to get them there by Tue....


please excuse the spelling blinking useless at that as well

not one ****er said thankyou not one.....

but all want copies printed after i have looked at them and "sorted" them... sooooooooooo cross i paid for the ****ing posters and have asked for nothing

all i got was there is a shodow across my face there is that or what ever.. i wasn't taking the pic's i was feffing in the blinking pic's......

well till i get onto what they have done to my new compact.... £100 down the drain.....

work colleagues can be so selfish, thats why i dont get socialy involved wih any of them, friends you go out with, work colleagues you work with.............

think he other guy means beer oclock for the naff way youve been treated

i knoaw what you are saying and i think i and sooooooooooooooooooooo:bang: because they ask me to loads but then just moan next time i am just gonna point them towards the bosss.. with tthe p/s who dosn't know how to turn it on without texting me

I know how you feel - people take you for granted - just because you have a camera - they think you're going to be at every event and take pictures and then when you do you get "oh, you didn't get many of me" or "oh, did you have to take that one" or "they're not that great - thought you had a good camera" or " I didn't bring my camera as I knew you'd bring yours" - no, hang on a minute - I came out to enjoy myself too, not to bleeding have my head behind a camera all night........

I'm now starting to learn to grow a little backbone and say, no you hang on, if I get some photos of the night out, then you should be bloody grateful.

Not much help with this post but I wanted to post to let you know that you are amongst friends here and balls to them ;)

My philosophy is that colleagues are just that - colleagues. You don't find out if they are friends until they are no longer colleagues.

Having said that, I envy people who have pleasant, communicative colleagues that go for the odd beer after work and the like. At the moment I'm stuck with the most miserable bunch of whatsits i've had the misfortune to work with. As someone who's always enjoyed social interaction (after all, you spend 70% of the week with them) it's pretty soul destroying when you don't even get a "good morning" and stony silence most of the day. An amazing contrast to my last job :(

Does that also qualify as a rant?
 
yep that is a rant...and it makes my lot look like angels...which they are not.
 
and this has what to do with photography? You work with a bunch of ungratefull drunks welcome to the real world it's full of people like this, never expect thanks and you won't be disapointed, never spend money without asking for a contribution up front etc etc etc.

First off sorry i seemed to have upset you.

Now to your question i was upset because they expect me to do all the photo's ect..photography no mater what it is.. yes they are ungreatful i agre with that and i won't be making anymore prints for them this was the 3rd time i had done it and it was a gift...but a thank you would have been nice but hay ho
