So I've had bad family news over the weekend that's preoccupied me. Went on a job today with my mind somewhere else and forgot to check for sensor cleanliness - would you credit it, shot loads of DPS stuff with a polariser into a blue sky and every bleedin' shot has a bit of crud on it.... arrggghhh!!

Now I have to go through every shot, retouch them (which I hate, as I'm pants with a clone tool) to make sure they're looking good enough for print. Looks like tomorrow is going to be damage limitation and cleaning duty for me.....

At least you haven't got some boss of photography looking at your shots and pointing out the school boy error!

Last time out I forgot to format one of my cards, its always the way.
 
I may be wrong, but can't you do one of the dust ref photo's and then apply it to all your images?

You may need NX, but i'm sure it can be done.

Edit. Just checked you can but you need NX.
 
Problem is I'm the photography boss so I have to poin it out to myself :) Doh

Not looked at NX for that feature but cheers :)
 
If you have Capture NX Real World by (I think) Ben Long, it tells you about it on page 138.

If you don't have it, I'm sure you can work it out, but if not I can scan the page for you to have a looksee.
