rapid quick strap

I have trouble walking about with my camera and found a quick strap on ebay , Has anyone got one and do you find it better than a standard strap.
 
I've got one, and whilst it does take some getting used to having the camera hanging round your hip, it's a vast improvement on a neck strap, and infinitely more convenient too.

The quality of materials used and sewing is spot on, and the only downside (personal opinion) is the bracket to fasten it to your camera... it's just a bit 'industrial' looking, but works perfectly fine.

I'm using mine with the Black Rapid FastenR-T1 so I can keep the tripod QR plate on the camera
 
If you're talking about the Q Strap then I have two :thinking:

Was given both as pressies and never got round to returning one. :(

Much better than the original strap, more comfortable and a lot better for strolling around with camera out of the way. IMO.
 
I was more worried about the attachment to my camera and the strengh of the carabina.
 
I have the double one and love it, quick to draw, quick to release a camera. Very stable too.
 
All I do is add a locking nut to the caribiner - if you do this it is stronger than the rapid one and you save yourself a fair amount. When I first used it I added a safety strap but this was overkill and I don't bother with this now. - I posed some pictures a while back - have a search for my posts.

I only use mine if I am say at the zoo and using a longish lens - it is far better than a standard strap for this type of use
