rapid straps

hi all,

I've been looking around at all of the rapid style straps available and they all seem decent enough but have price tags to go with them. You can get cheap ones off the bay but they can take forever to arrive and if you have any issues its a pita to sort out.

I've just built my own and despite being basic is working well, and best of all, would of cost me around £4.50 using straps and parts that were designed and built for the MOD.

There are a few things I need to improve, source and add just to improve safety and functionality.

I was just wondering how many people here use them and what things you'd like to see on one? for those that haven't got one, how much would you pay you be happy to pay for one?

I use one of the ebay ones , I think they have a better fitting to the camera and they still allow you to connect your tripod without removing it, which was a big plus for me aswell as being one third of the price of the originals.
